This dynamic, energizing and challenging style of yoga links breath and movement through unique sequences by combining sun salutations, standing postures and floor work. The smooth, continuous flow deepens the breath, stimulates the core, increases endurance, and challenges balance, strength, and flexibility. You will leave these classes with a renewed mental and physical energy. Each class will offer a different and amazing experience with each instructor. $7 Hot Power Happy Hour
Perfect for the yogi who wants a good workout at the end of the workweek. We start class with a slow warm up, then bring up the heat with reps targeting your arms, abdomen, and booty, which might also be shaking to the fun music played during class. Your hard work will be rewarded with deep stretching to protect your muscles and a long savasana.
Yin Yang Yoga
Chinese medicine's theory of Yin and Yang can be applied not only in medical treatment and diagnosis but also to inform and inspire our own eating and sleeping habits, work/rest balance and the quality of our yoga asana (or "pose"). In traditional "Hatha" yoga, the basis for most Vinyasa yoga, "Ha" means 'sun' and "Tha" means 'moon'. All of yoga is an attempt to balance these two vital forces - the active and the passive, the effort and the allowing - that which shines out and that which receives. Yin Yang theory offers similar insights and is further informed by using points of tension or weakness in the body to help determine which stretches and stabilizing postures are best. Class will include cardiovascular strength moves as well as deep, restful stretches and holds. Will be taught at a warm temperature of 95 degrees.
Hot Power Hour
While Hot Power Hour is a condensed session of Vinyasa yoga, it does not fall short of substance. Living up to its name, this class is a vigorous flow of sun salutations and standing sequences, designed to push the limits in order to test and build strength and endurance. The pace is quick, and a significant amount of time is spent up and moving, with a shorter session of restorative postures and savasana. Great for those on the go!
Wake up and FLOW!
This early morning vinyasa class is designed to warm up the body and mind to prepare for the long day ahead. Come prepared to flow through some vinyasa sequences, and then settle down with long, deep stretches. Can you think of a better way to start your day than with savasana as the sun rises? Added bonus: this class is only $10!
Hot Core Flow
This 75 minute class is designed not only to strengthen and tone your core, but also to restore and renew the body and mind through smooth flows and sequences. In each class, you can expect to move through challenging, yet fun and invigorating, asanas and transitions focusing on the core and back. Leave this class feeling strong, refreshed, and ready to take on your day! All levels welcome.
Intro to Flow
"Intro to Flow" includes meditation & connection to the breath as well as strengthening yoga postures. Modifications for each pose are offered so that students can listen to their hearts, find proper alignment in poses, and take care of their bodies. Our hope is that we can practice yoga together to extend our practice into our relationships, communities, and the world we live in. To ease your body into the heated conditions of hot yoga, "Intro to Flow" is taught at a warm temperature of 95 degrees.
