Hot Power Hour
While Hot Power Hour is a condensed session of Vinyasa yoga, it does not fall short of substance. Living up to its name, this class is a vigorous flow of sun salutations and standing sequences, designed to push the limits in order to test and build strength and endurance. The pace is quick, and a significant amount of time is spent up and moving, with a shorter session of restorative postures and savasana. Great for those on the go!
$7 Hot Power Happy Hour
Perfect for the yogi who wants a good workout at the end of the workweek. We start class with a slow warm up, then bring up the heat with reps targeting your arms, abdomen, and booty, which might also be shaking to the fun music played during class. Your hard work will be rewarded with deep stretching to protect your muscles and a long savasana.
Advanced Practice is for experienced students looking to deepen their mental and physical understanding of yoga. The teacher will lead students through a rigorous flow, some of which will be self-guided. Then, they will break down arm balances, inversions, and other advanced asanas in a workshop-style fashion, giving students the opportunity to play around with challenging poses. Advanced Practice offers students the opportunity to ask questions and receive one-on-one guidance from their instructor. Some yogic philosophy and history will be incorporated into this class. As a studio, Red Room aims to service yogis of all levels, but this class is not beginner friendly. We ask that everyone in attendance maintain a regular practice and a willingness to try new things!
Join us to enjoy the classic flows of our Red Room instructors alongside the gentle glow of flameless candles. Extra time will be spent at the end of class for some deep stretches and a nice long savasana... the perfect way to wrap up your weekend! This class is taught during winter months and is regular class price.
This dynamic, energizing and challenging style of yoga links breath and movement through unique sequences by combining sun salutations, standing postures and floor work. Slow Flow & Deep Stretch
This 60-minute class is just what it sounds like – a long, slow, and deep flow that will leave you feeling refreshed and restored. It starts with a gentle vinyasa flow to warm the body, followed by long holds (2-3 minutes) of poses to explore the depths of your muscles. Slow Flow and Deep Stretch is the perfect compliment to any exercise routine: improving flexibility protects from injury and takes your yoga practice to new levels. Come enjoy this rejuvenating class and experience the benefits of slowing down both physically and mentally!
Yoga 101: Beginner's guide to asana
Join us for a three-part series designed for those who are new to yoga and developing their yoga practice. In this series we will go in-depth with postures, modifications, the use of props, breathing techniques, and touch on the Sanskrit names for poses (asanas). Then we'll put it all together in the form of a flow! Each workshop is 90 minutes and will be warmly heated to 95 degrees. All classes will be taught by Tamar, a Red Room Hot Yoga instructor and Certified Personal Trainer.
